Musical Summer
An extensive collection of musical instruments are on display at the Diefenbaker Canada Centre in an exhibition entitled "Making Music: The Collections of David Kaplan (and Friends)". Demonstrations of different instruments will be held Wednesday afternoons in April, May and June. The show runs until Aug. 31.

Beautiful Creatures
Beautiful Creatures: Visions of Sandy, mixed media work by BFA student Zachari Logan can been seen in the St. Thomas More Gallery until April 30.

Cole Quartet
The Cole Quartet - Marla Cole, Michael Swan, Geoff Cole and Linda Bardutz - will perform on the Amati instruments in concerts at St. John's Cathedral April 26 and May 8. The concerts, which being at 7:30 p.m.., feature classical string quartets and trios.

Ancient Egyptian Funerary Exhibit
The Museum of Antiquities presents 'Life in Death: An Exploration of Ancient Egyptian Funerary Practices'. Features orig. artifacts & replicas. Rm. 237, Main Library, Murray Bldg. Hours: 9:00 a.m.-noon Mon., Wed., Fri., and 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Tues. & Thurs. Also 2:00-5:00 p.m. Sun. March 30, April 13. For info, 966-7818.

Kirk Hall Gallery Exhibitions
Kirk Hall Gallery (U of S Arts Council), is in the Main Flr. north & west hallways of Kirk Hall. Open to the public weekdays 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. except holidays. Exhibitions:

  • July 1-Aug. 23: "Andrew King - Printing Affair".
