    The following academic appointments or reappointments have been announced by the Office of the Provost and Vice-President Academic:

    Rob Pywell has been re-appointed Head of Physics and Engineering Physics for a three-year term, ending June 30, 2007.

    		 Linda Suveges will serve as Acting Dean, College of Pharmacy and Nutrition, for the 2004-05 academic year while Dean Dennis Gorecki is on administrative leave. Gorecki will resume his post on July 1, 2005.
    Alex Sokalski was appointed as Head of Languages and Linguistics for a one-year term, effective July 1, 2004.
    Pamela Haig Bartley has been appointed Head of Drama for a five-year term, effective July 1, 2004.

    		 Vikram Misra has been re-appointed as Head of Veterinary Microbiology for a three-year term, effective July 1, 2004.

    		 Kevin Ansdell has been appointed Head, Department of Geological Sciences, for a three-year term, effective July 1, 2004.
    Marianna Foldvari has been appointed as Associate Dean (Research and Graduate Affairs) in the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition for a five-year term, commencing July 1, 2004.

    		 Len Haines, who has been serving as the Acting Assistant Dean (Undergraduate Programs) in the College of Education since July 1, 2003, has been appointed to the position for a five-year term effective July 1, 2004.
