Enhanced Learning

The U of S is hosting the Learning Enhanced by Technology (LET) workshop May 10 & 11 in conjunction with the University of Regina’s Riding the Crest of Change symposium May 3 & 4. Building Distributed Communities

A workshop entitled Building Distributed Communities of Practice for Enhanced Research Polity Interface will be held May 28-31 at the U of S. Changing the Climate

Public vs. Private Discourse is the title of this year’s Changing the Climate Graduate Student Conference May 12-14 in the Education Building. Riding the Crest of Change

Engineers Gather

The 32nd Annual Conference of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) will be held June 2-5 in Saskatoon. Keynote speaker is Maurice Strong, a major contributor to the Kyoto Protocol. For more information, visit the CSCE website.

Managing Diabetes

Management of Diabetes & Its Complications, a conference for health professionals featuring guest speakers Dr. Sora Ludwig of the Dept. of Internal Medicine at the University of Manitoba and Kris Swenson, director of development for the Diabetes Management and Training Centres in Phoenix, Arizona will take place May 7-8 in Saskatoon. Evaluation Society

The annual conference of the Canadian Evaluation Society will be held in Saskatoon May 17-19. The theme is Evaluation: A Co-operative Enterprise, and speakers include Ernest House, University of Colorado, Judge Gerald Morin of Prince Albert, and history professor Janice MacKinnon.
