‘Kamloops Wawa’ on Display

The U of S Library displays its newly acquired 19th-century newsletter, the English-, French- and Chinook-language Kamloops Wawa, in the Library Link Gallery Feb. 4-March 26. University Women’s Meeting

The Canadian Federation of University Women (Saskatoon Inc.) will hold its general meeting Mon., March 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the W.A. Edwards Family Centre, 333 Fourth Ave. N. Guest speaker will be Monique Martin, a renowned Canadian artist who teaches art at Georges Vanier School. Members of the public are welcome.

Star Gazing

Meditation Group

Public Forum on Genomics

A public forum, Genomics in Human & Animal Health: Opportunities & Controversies, will be held in the theatre of the main branch of the Saskatoon Public Library March 8, 7 pm, featuring U of S panelists: Peter Phillips, Agriculture Economics; William Albritton, Medicine; and Lorne Babiuk, VIDO. Moderated by John Gormley, CKOM Radio. Sponsored by Canadian Museum of Nature, Genome Canada, and Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
