Construction on facility is to start immediately. |
The provincial government announced Oct. 14 that a new $25-million, five-storey
office building will be built in Innovation Place, the successful 25-year-old
research park adjacent to the U of S operated by the Saskatchewan Opportunities
Corporation (SOCO).
SOCO President Doug Tastad said the 151,000-sq-ft. building, to be called
121 Research Drive, will be located in the northeast corner of the park
facing north on Research Drive and fairly near Preston Avenue.
Construction will start immediately and the facility should be ready for
occupancy in late-summer 2007. Sixty per cent of its space is already
committed.
