Art and Art History graduate Sonya Adams, who earned her BFA this past spring, finds inspiration in the skeletal remains of outmoded communications technologies and this particular rendering of bits of a typewriter earned her a top prize in this year’s BMO 1st Art! Invitational Student Art Competition. Titled Untitled, the charcoal drawing will be added to BMO’s corporate art collection along with work by other regional winners, all graduating students, who each receive $1500 for their piece.
