Ed Gibney’s sculpture Two Solitudes is one of four works created during the city’s Centennial Sculpture Symposium in Friendship Park this summer and recently relocated to the University sculpture park near the Diefenbaker Canada Centre. The works commemorate the Saskatoon centennial but are also a link to the provincial and University centennial celebrations, explained Gibney, the symposium co-ordinator with the Prairie Sculptors’ Association.
