The program, designed to encourage people to deal with outstanding parking tickets, forgave more than 110 tickets worth about $4500 in exchange for toys and food donations that were distributed at Christmas by the Salvation Army. Parking services staff don’t often see many smiling faces so the campaign was a chance for them to see happy customers who were getting rid of old tickets.
