The University of Saskatchewan officially launched its centennial celebration on campus Jan. 12 with an event in Convocation Hall. The U of S Amati Quartet in Residence and the Greystone Singers performed, the Huskie cheer team cheered, and various speakers were eloquent in their remarks about the University, the importance of marking anniversaries and the institution’s significant role in both Saskatoon and Saskatchewan.
