When On Campus News asked photographer Liam Richards to get a shot of the InterVac building site on the north edge of campus, he decided to take it from the top of the construction crane. Cam Ewert, development manager with Facilities Management Division, said work continues to focus on the building’s foundations. The photo shows building piles, exterior grade beams around the perimeter and the start of what will be four stair towers. Some construction time was lost due to bitter weather in early January but the project remains on track for completion in July 2010.
