In recognition of the disruption to services during the November strike by CUPE support workers, the University will be providing all students who were registered in credit programs on the U of S campus in the fall semester with a $25 credit for campus retail services.
In announcing the credit, Dave Hannah, associate vice-president of Student and Enrolment Services, said both the U of S Students’ Union and the Graduate Students’ Association support the gesture. The method of distributing the credits to students will be finalized by mid-February, and the credits will be available for use until the end of April 2008.
