Maaka

Professor Roger Maaka has been reappointed head of the Department of Native Studies until March 10, 2008.

The Department of Small Animal Clinical Studies has reappointed Professor Klaas Post to serve as head of the department for a three-year term, effective July 1.

Carr-Stewart

Former head of the Department of Educational Administration, Sheila Carr-Stewart, has been appointed acting associate dean in the College of Education, effective Jan. 1.

Professor Kevin Schneider, former head of the Department of Computer Science, has been appointed acting associate dean of science in the College of Arts and Science, effective Jan. 1.

Crowe

The College of Graduate Studies and Research has appointed Professor Trever Crowe as acting associate dean for a six-month term, effective July 1. Crowe was previously head of the Department of Agricultural and Bioresource Engineering.

Dr. Sheila Harding has been appointed acting dean in the College of Medicine for three months, effective Jan. 1. Harding, professor and associate dean in the college, will be serving as acting dean while Dr. William Albritton is on administrative leave.

The College of Education has appointed Vivian Hajnal as acting dean for a one-year period, effective July 1, while Dean Cecilia Reynolds is on administrative leave. Hajnal is currently the college’s associate dean.
