Grad Student Exposition
The College of Arts and Science will host its first graduate student exposition Nov. 14 in the College of Education gym to showcase research, scholarly and artist work. Awards will be presented at 3:45 pm.

Light the Flame of Hope
The USSU, women’s centre, Victo’s Advocate Office and the Multi-Faith Chaplains Association present Light the Flame of Hope Nov. 25 on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women in Browsers. Refreshments will be served at 4 pm and a service of commemoration including the Montreal memorial, will take place at 4:30 pm.

Book Launch
Indigenous Diplomacy and the Rights of People: Achieving UN Recognition, a new book by James (Sa’ke’j) Youngblood Henderson, director of research at the Native Law Centre, will be launched at an event Nov. 19 from 4:30-6 pm at the Faculty Club.

Sessional Lecturer Award
The Sylvia Wallace Sessional Lecturer Award annually recognizes the important contribution of sessional lecturers to the U of S teaching community. The nomination deadline has been extended to Dec. 2. For full details visit www.usask.ca/gmcte or call 966-2231.
