Memorial History Lecture
Valerie Korinek from the Dept. of History will present the inaugural Dave Debrou Memorial Lecture in History Oct. 22 at 7 pm in at the Frances Morrison Library theatre. The presentation titled Re-orienting Prairie History: Three Portraits of Prairie Activism will address the histories of gay and lesbian communities in the prairie provinces in the post-Second World War.
Bilson Lecture
The Bilson Lecture, sponsored by the Dept. of History, will take place Nov. 3 at 7:30 pm in the Radisson Hotel. This year's speaker is award-winning children's author Sarah Ellis who will present The Historian as Chrysanthemum.
