The following administrative appointments have been announced by the Office of the Provost and Vice-President Academic:
| David Meyer will be head of the Dept. of Archaeology and Anthropology for a five-year term, which started July 1. |

Margaret Kennedy will be the graduate chair in the Dept. of Archaeology and Anthropology for a two-year term. |

| Fred Remillard has been appointed acting associate dean, research and graduate affairs in the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition for one year. |

Glenn Donnelly has been named acting associate dean at the Regina site of the College of Nursing for a one-year term. |

Adam Baxter-Jones will be associate dean of graduate education and research in the College of Kinesiology for a five-year term. |

| Anne-Marie Cey has joined the College of Engineering in the position of communications and public relations specialist. Her previous experience included work for St. Paul's Hospital and the United Way of Saskatoon. |

The position of director of budget strategy and planning in the Integrated Planning office has been awarded to Ginger Appel who moved from the job of budget manager in the Financial Services Division Sept. 15. |
| Vipen Sawhney, professor of biology, was recognized for contributions to botany research, teaching and administration when presented with the Lawson Medal at a joint meeting of the Canadian and American Botanical Associations this past summer. |

Shannon Seymour has moved from the College of Law to the position of confidential secretary to the executive assistant and director of administration in the Office of the Provost and Vice-President Academic. |
| Dr. Patricia Dowling, professor of veterinary biomedical sciences, has won the 2008 Industry Leadership Award from the Canadian Animal Health Institute. The award recognizes innovation, personal and professional accomplishments as well as commitment to animal health. |
