Aquitard Hydrogeology Symposium

Canadian Learning Commons Conference
The fourth annual Canadian Learning Commons Conference will be held June 11-13 at the U of S.  The theme is Open Access Learning and the keynote speaker is Richard Baraniuk, professor of electrical and computer engineering at Rice University and advocate for open education and open educational resources. Indigenous Food Symposium
The 2009 North American Indigenous Food Symposium, June 4-6, will present information on projects and research geared towards improving local food systems through tradition, education and community development. Special guest speakers include chef and professor David Wolfman and Clayton Brascoupe director of the Traditional Native Farmers Association. CHESS Interactions
The CHESS conference brings together experts from computer science, humanities, engineering, education, economics and the social and natural sciences to explore common themes and methodologies among diverse disciplines.
