Foundational document approved
January 9, 2009
After years of consultation and innumerable drafts, the Foundational Document for Teaching and Learning at the University of Saskatchewan received final approval Dec. 9 from University Council.
The teaching and learning document outlines the perspective of U of S faculty and students, and presents some current thinking on teaching and learning from within the post-secondary sector. It also details teaching and learning initiatives already underway at the U of S and presents suggestions on where the institution might make advances. These include areas like curriculum development, student transition to university and new approaches to program delivery.
The complete document, along with other foundational documents, can be found on the integrated planning website.
