Marlatt Reading
Canadian poet Daphne Marlatt will be reading from her new collection The Given Jan. 14 from 3:30-5 pm in the Fireplace Room, Faculty Club. The event is sponsored by the Women's Studies Research Unit and the Departments of Women's and Gender Studies, and English.
Golden Cockerel Press
Printed and Published at the Golden Cockerel press, an exhibit of selections from the university library's Special Collections holdings of one the 20th century's most famous printing presses can be seen until Jan. 9 on the third floor of the Murray Library.
New Acquisitions
The Museum of Antiquities is displaying a number of new acquisitions, including an Apollo replica and a number of Egyptian gods represented as animals. The pieces were dontated by Peter and Doris Bietenholz.
Kenderdine Gallery
Starting in January and continuing through April is the exhibition From the Island, work by Greg Hardy. The gallery is located on the second floor of the Agriculture Building.
