College Building Galleries
Opening Feb. 6 in the lower level gallery is Mitch Robertson: 567 Economies of Good & Evil, the artist's playful pondering of Christianity's corporate makeover in a series of multiples, rubbings, paintings, hand-tinted photographs, and a modular church. Robertson will give a talk/tour of the exhibition Feb. 6 at 7:30 pm followed by a public reception at 8 pm.

Opening the same day in the upper gallery is Inside/Out, new acquisitions from the permanent collection selected by Kent Archer, gallery director. A public reception for this exhibition begins a 7:30 pm Feb. 6.

STM Gallery
The gallery at St. Thomas More College is showing Confections III, an exhibition of small works by various artists, until Feb. 28.

Screening
The Flicks International Film Festival for Young People and the Humanities Research Unit are presenting their second annual Industry Film Forum at 1 pm Feb. 10 in the Neatby-Timlin Theatre. The theme this year is social action documentary and will feature award-winning Canadian filmmaker Alanis Obomsawin who will lecture, then screen her work Gene Boy Came Home.

Military Concert
Quance Theatre is the location of a concert by the Edmonton Garrison Canadian Military Concert Band Jan. 27 at 7:30 pm. For information, contact the Dept. of Music.

New Acquisitions
The Museum of Antiquities is displaying a number of new acquisitions, including na Apollo replica and a number of Egyptian gods represented as animals. The pieces were dontated by Peter and Doris Bietenholz.

Kenderdine Gallery
There will be a public reception and artist talk/tour Jan. 23 at 8 pm for Greg Hardy's exhibition From the Island, which will be on view through April.  The gallery is located on the second floor of the Agriculture Building .
