Selected incidents reported by the Department of Campus Safety. Report all information about these and other incidents to Campus Safety at 966-5555.
January 5 - 11
- Officers issued the following tickets:
- 1 for disobeying a stop sign
- There were six reported break-ins to vehicles in several staff and student lots on campus. Various items were stolen, including stereos.
- Two males were arrested for being intoxicated in public on separate occasions. They were taken to police cells
- Louis' was evacuated late Tuesday night due to smoke coming from a refrigerator. Fire department attended and Louis' remained closed for the rest of the evening.
- A three-vehicle accident was reported on campus. There were no injuries.
- A theft of items totaling approximately $200 was reported in St. Thomas More College.
- An attempted theft from an electrical room in Education was reported.
- Officers assisted with two medical calls.
January 12 - 18
- Officers issued the following tickets:
- 4 for driving an unregistered vehicle
- 1 for minor possession/consumption of alcohol
- 2 for having/consuming alcohol other than in a dwelling
- 3 24-hour suspensions
- 5 for disobeying stop signs
- 3 for failing to hold a valid/appropriate license
- 1 for speeding
- Officers attended one motor vehicle accident.
- Officers attended two medical calls for assistance.
