STM Gallery
Spirit of the University, abstract paintings by Bette Lemke inspired by views of space from the Hubble Telescope, can be seen in the gallery until Aug. 27.
Gordon Snelgrove Gallery
Showing until July 24 is Environmental 911, a group exhibition of work by community artists. From July 27-Aug. 6, the gallery is exhibiting the curatorial project and group show entitled Everything in its Place. Opening Aug. 10 and continuing until Aug. 21 will be a show of work by graduates of the University of Saskatchewan Certificate of Art and Design (USCAD) program.
Musical celebration
Calgary jazz group Northern Lights have collaborated with Altai Khangai, a traditional Mongolian music trio, to celebrate diplomatic relations between
Canada and Mongolia and will be performing Aug. 18 at 7:30 pm in Convocation Hall. Tickets are available at picatic.com and at the door.
College Building Galleries

Antiquities
The Museum of Antiquities is displaying a scale model of King Solomon’s Temple and corresponding didactic display. Built by Greg Burke, the model was donated to the museum by retired history professor Gary Hanson.
