The College of Kinesiology is encouraging people to take a walk on July 20 to commemorate the anniversary of the death of Russ Kisby, founder of Participaction.
The second annual KinSpin, a one-kilometer or five-kilometer walk, run or roll, takes place Sept. 26 starting at 9 am in the Bowl. Proceeds go to the College of Kinesiology Special Needs Trust Fund. For more information or to register, visit the college website.
The Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching Effectiveness is holding Fall Orientation to Teaching and Learning Aug. 24, 25 and 26. Faculty new to the university are encouraged to attend Aug. 24 while Aug. 25 is open to new and experienced faculty, graduate student teachers and sessional lecturers. The Aug. 26 date is reserved for new graduate students who will be taking on their first teaching assistant, marking, advising or tutoring responsibilities.
