Innovation Place has received an international award that recognizes its role in supporting the growth of science and technology-related development in Saskatchewan.
In selecting Innovation Place for its 2009 Outstanding Research/Science Park award, the Association of University Research Parks noted its global reputation and positive impact on both Saskatoon and Regina as well as the province’s universities.
An Innovation Place media release said that in 2008, park clients collectively contributed more than $647 million to the provincial economy. As well, the organizations located at the parks in Saskatoon and Regina accounted for more than 8,500 jobs.
