Wrestling Book
University Archives, University Library and the Dept. of Women’s and Gender Studies will host a public reception Oct. 28 at 7:30 pm in the library’s Link Gallery to launch Wrestling in the Canadian West, an illustrated history by professional wrestler Vance Nevada. For information call 966-6027.

Book Launch
Ben Daniel who works in innovation and strategy alliances in the Office of the Associate Vice-President Research, Health, will launch his book Social Capital Modeling in Virtual Communities: Baysian Belief Network Approaches Oct. 7 from 7-9 pm in the Neatby-Timlin Theatre. The book examines what constitutes social capital and offers a description of its potential in virtual communities.
Vetavision 2009
The world of veterinary medicine and the expanded Western College of Veterinary Medicine will be on view until Oct. 4 during Vetavision 2009, an event held every three years. Details on hours, admission and events can be found at www.vetavision.ca
