Selected incidents reported by Campus Safety Department. Report all information about these and other incidents to Campus Safety at 966-5555.
Sept. 14 – 20
- Officers issued the following tickets:
- for disobeying a stop sign
- 2 for being intoxicated in a public place
- 2 for operating an unregistered motor vehicle
- 1 for consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle
- Cash was stolen from a room in Thorvaldson.
- A vehicle in U lot was damaged by unknown culprit(s) smashing the rear window with a rock.
- 3 bicycles were stolen from various racks.
- A break-in was reported in Browsers. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen.
- A small brush fire was reported near Spinks. Officers extinguished it.
Sept. 21 – 27
- Officers issued the following tickets:
- 3 for speeding
- 3 for disobeying a stop sign
- 5 for minor possessing/consuming alcohol
- 1 for driving without a valid license
- 1 for operating an unregistered vehicle
- While on routine patrol, officers checked an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was stolen; no suspects were located.
- A male was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
- An FMD compound was broken into and 10 light posts valued at approximately $4,000 were stolen.
- 3 bicycle thefts were reported.
- Several meters on campus were broken into and coins stolen.
- A vehicle parked in the NRC lot was damaged by unknown culprit(s) throwing a rock through the window.
- A bicycle rack and several bikes were damaged when two males uprooted and overturned the rack. There are two suspects in this matter and the file is still under investigation.
