Doug Clark has been appointed to the position of associate vice-president of development in University Advancement.
In making the announcement, Heather Magotiaux, vice-president University Advancement, said Clark’s leadership as director of development has moved the University of Saskatchewan to the forefront of fundraising efforts in both the city and the province. The new position, described in the division’s integrated plan, is responsible for resource development as well as management of targeted avenues of revenue generation and strategic partnerships, all aimed at maintaining the institution’s competitive edge in fundraising.
Clark earned a commerce degree from the U of S in 1976 and joined the staff of the Division of Extension and Community Relations in 1980 as an administrative officer. He moved to the position of director of advancement projects in the Office of Institutional Advancement in 1988 and has also served as director of planned giving.
