The University of Saskatchewan was one of two stops the Royal Canadian Mint and the Saskatchewan Roughrider organization made in Saskatoon Sept. 3 as part of the launch of the mint’s new Rider loonie. Designed to commemorate the team’s 100th anniversary this season, the brand new coins were in high demand in the Arts Building where people could trade old coins and bills for the loonie.
