Campus Close-up
March 4, 2011
Here’s another campus close-up. Have you seen this anywhere on campus? If you have, let us know. Send your answer in an email to Campus Close-up. We’ll draw one winner for all the correct entries for each issue of On Campus News. Those names go into the draw for the grand prize—an iPad from the Campus Computer Store—that will take place at the end of the publishing year.

The Reveal
The Campus Close-up photo in our Feb. 11 issue proved to be a tough one. To find it, you have to visit the Museum of Antiquities in the College Building. There, on the back of the replica of Crouching Aphrodite, is the small hand, thought to be that of Aphrodite’s son Eros, the winged boy-god of love. The original of the mid-third century B.C. statue can be found in the Louvre in Paris.
The winner of the Feb. 11 draw is James Pepler, executive assistant to the vice-president of finance and resources. Congratulations to James whose name goes into the drum for the final draw in May for the iPad grand prize.
