We have a winner! Daryl Mitchell, web programmer and analyst in IT and communications office of the Student and Enrolment Services Division, has won the iPad grand prize in our Campus Close-up contest.

A big thank you to everyone who spent time taking a close look at campus over the past publishing year, and then took the time to send us an email with their guess at the close-up photo. Thank you also to the Campus Computer Store for providing the iPad prize. Watch this space for a new back page feature when On Campus News resumes publishing Aug. 26.

The Reveal

Becky Szeman, iPortal assistant in the University Library, got it right when she guessed that the May 13 Campus Close-up was one of the ubiquitous no-smoking-within-10-metres decals found all across campus. This particular one just happened to be on Qu’Appell Hall.
