CAMPUS ON-LINEWeb offers resources for information providersBy Corinne Szwydky
Help ensure the U of S web site is enhancing the profile of your unit and meeting the expectations of the University's diverse audience by participating in the Information Providers Group (IPG). The IPG, chaired by the U of S central webmasters, is comprised of campus web developers, managers, and users. Members discuss a variety of web-related topics, ranging from the main institutional pages and current Internet initiatives to web-based applications and development tools. The IPG meets monthly, and its members communicate regularly via an e-mail list. IPG meetings are followed by a noon hour web seminar, led by Kevin Lowey. Meetings and seminars have been scheduled throughout the winter months as follows:
Information providers are encouraged to submit agenda items, presentation topics, and seminar suggestions to the central webmasters at: webmaster@www.usask.ca Faculty and staff may also be interested in participating in the Educational Technology Roundtable (ETR) and mailing list.
