Faculty Interview Expense
Reimbursement ... Effective immediately, the procedure
to obtain reimbursement of departmental or college accounts for
recruitment expenses will change slightly.
A Memorandum dated January 13, 1999, was sent
to deans, department heads, and administrative
officers describing the provisions of the recruitment expense policy
and advising of the procedural change.
Departments should now direct Journal Vouchers
(JVs) requesting reimbursement for allowable recruitment
expenses to Paula Croteau in HRD. (JVs had previously
been directed to Central Registry). Please refer to
the Memorandum for complete instructions on how the
JVs should be completed. If you have any questions,

- Vacancies for the 1998/99 Intersession
courses will be posted February 3 and
Summer Session courses will be posted March 3.

- New Application Forms and Early Application
Forms are available from departments, HRD, or the CUPE
3287 Office in McLean Hall. Sessional Lecturers
are reminded that early applications for Intersession or
summer Session will not be accepted prior to the first week
in February. Early applications for Regular Session will
not be accepted prior to the third week of May.
- An updated Departmental Priority Appointment
List will be sent to departments at the end of January.
Department Heads are reminded to use this list
to make their Intersession/Summer Session appointments. This list
will also be available on HRD's web site (see above)
under Labour Relations: Sessional Lecturers.
