Spooky staff
Staff across campus got into the Halloween spirit at their workplaces Oct. 29. The Registrars Office held its annual exhibit and contest of staff Halloween carvings and artwork creations in the lobby of the Administration Building and many others at the University used the occasion to have a bit of fun.

Left and inset, Muriel Miller, Administrative Assistant in the Psychology Dept., was inspired by recent research announcements at the University to transform herself into "Synchrotron-woman". On her white coveralls, Muriel strung lights, with a headlight on her hat and when she plugged herself in she became the perfect synchrotron, emitting light in all directions. She had fun doing a bit of trick or treating around the College of Arts and Sciences. |
