Court puts pension plan change on hold

Saskatchewan Court of Queen’s Bench Justice Ross Wimmer issued an injunction Sept. 28 preventing the University of Saskatchewan from making any changes to its Academic Pension Plan for at least two weeks.

A song from African friends

Ten students from Mozambique — at the U of S from one to three years to learn to be health education facilitators for their country, as part of a joint Training for Health Renewal Program — sing for guests at a Sept. 9 Faculty Club reception held for Saskatchewan officials associated with the program. They sang a heartfelt song of the pride of being Africans. See story on the program, Page 6.
