MUSEUM OF ANTIQUITIES

The Museum features a permanent collection of full-scale replicas of ancient Greek, Roman, and medieval sculpture, made with exacting scholarship by the Louvre, Paris, and the British Museum, London, as well as original Roman coinage and Greek and Roman pottery and glass. The museum also offers tours, workshops, and educational resources for students and the public. In Rm. 237 Murray Bldg. Summer hours May 1-Aug. 31, Mon.- Fri., 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Admission is free. DIEFENBAKER CANADA CENTRE

Running to Aug. 19, the Diefenbaker Canada Centre presents "The Prairie Lawyer: John Diefenbaker’s Legal Career", a show sponsored by the Law Foundation of Saskatchewan. The show includes documents, photos and artifacts illustrating how the law shaped this small-town Prairie lawyer and the impact it had as he shaped the country. An accompanying exhibit on ‘The Avro Arrow’ looks at one of Diefenbaker’s more controversial decisions. The Centre is located next to the Education Bldg., on the riverbank. It is open Sundays 12:30-5:00 p.m., Mondays & Fridays 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Tuesdays to Thursdays 9:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Closed Saturdays. Admission $2 adults, $1 children (4-15), $5 families. ‘BEYOND THE LINK GALLERY’

KENDERDINE ART GALLERY

Running to Sept. 2. OffGuard - The Farm Photography Project. Artists: Mark Ballantyne, Naomi Friesen, Paula Reban. The exhibition features photographs of 20 individuals who have survived Saskatchewan farm machinery incidents. Partners co-operating to produce the exhibition include the Kenderdine Art Gallery, the Centre for Agricultural Medicine, the Farmers with Disabilities Program of the Sask. Abilities Council, the U of S Dept. of Art & Art History, the Sask. Farm Injury Surveillance Program, and the Photographers’ Gallery of Saskatoon. Each subject is represented by a portrait and by additional images in a work environment. The photographs, taken in kitchens, apartments, barns, farmyards and living rooms across the province reflect a cautionary tale.
