MUSEUM OF ANTIQUITIES

Currently featuring "Myths and Legends", a special exhibition on the mythology surrounding certain ancient artworks – including Aphrodite, Osiris, and the Parthenon. The Museum also features a permanent collection of full-scale replicas of ancient Greek, Roman, and medieval sculpture, made with exacting scholarship by the Louvre, Paris, and the British Museum, London, as well as original Roman coinage and Greek and Roman pottery and glass. In Rm. 237 Murray Bldg. Open Mon. - Fri., 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, as well as some unscheduled times by appointment. ‘BEYOND THE LINK GALLERY’

The Library’s "Beyond the Link Gallery" is the location of a show documenting aspects of the now-defunct Department of Ceramics in the College of Engineering. On display are several examples of pottery products produced on campus to promote the clay industry of Saskatchewan. D.S. Spafford of Political Studies and Patrick Hayes of the University Archives are co-curators of the show which runs from now until July.

DIEFENBAKER CANADA CENTRE

Running to June 3, the Diefenbaker Canada Centre and the Sask. Society for Education Through Art present "The Next Generation", a show of artworks by Saskatoon high school students. The Centre is located next to the Education Bldg., on the riverbank. It is open Sunday 12:30-5:00 p.m., Mondays & Fridays 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Tuesdays to Thursdays 9:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Closed Saturdays. Admission $2 adults, $1 children 4-15, $5 families. KENDERDINE ART GALLERY

Running to July 15, "Seeing Things: The Paintings of Gary Evans", a national touring exhibit curated by Stuart Reid. This solo exhibition surveys the past five years of Evans’ work, including series of paintings from solitary bush studies to desolate urban scenes and distant tableaux.
