Making the grade

Graders, heavy rolling machines, water trucks and bobcats from Central Asphalt & Paving scooted around the new extension to Parking Lot ‘R’ in the final days of August, getting its final gravel surface level, packed and ready for eventual use when construction of the new Kinesiology Building starts.  The lot, located on the site of the former University gym, still requires finishing touches before being used by staff whose parking spots in the main part of R-Lot will be eliminated by the Kinesiology Building, which will be built between the existing Phys. Ed. Centre and the Administration Building.
