Museums and GalleriesMUSEUM OF ANTIQUITIES The Museum features a permanent collection of full-scale replicas of ancient Greek, Roman, and medieval sculpture, made with exacting scholarship by the Louvre, Paris, and the British Museum, London, as well as original Roman coinage and Greek and Roman pottery and glass. The museum also offers tours, workshops, and educational resources for students and the public. In Rm. 237 Murray Bldg. Hours: Mon.- Fri., 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, and some afternoons by appointment. DIEFENBAKER CANADA CENTRE ‘Winnipeg 1919 — A City in Crisis’, running Sept. 3-Oct. 14, is a travelling exhibit of photographs and interpretive text illustrating the tumultuous Winnipeg General Strike. Developed by the Manitoba Museum of Man & Nature, the show is sponsored in Saskatoon by the Canadian Labour Congress, the Sask. Federation of Labout and the Saskatoon & District Labour Council. The Centre is on the riverbank across from the Law/Commerce complex. KENDERDINE ART GALLERY Running Sept. 7-Oct. 21, “Transhuman”, the first exhibition of the BIOshuffle Project, showcases a variety of sculptures and installations by Canadian & international artists Oron Catts, Ionat Zur & Guy Ben-Ary, Caroline Boileau, Kathleen Sellars, and Max Streicher.
