College of Nursing receives accreditation for education program

The new undergraduate education program at the U of S College of Nursing has received accreditation from the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing.

Accreditation is recognition that the program meets the national standard of excellence and is, according to Lois Berry, acting dean, "an outstanding accomplishment for our college." The  accreditation process outlines parameters of quality and standards in not only the curriculum itself, but also in areas of leadership, innovation, scholarship and research
