A team of executive chefs from the University of Saskatchewan's Culinary Services are serving regional-inspired fare at a Canadian university dining event.

The U of S team will share and learn new skills alongside chefs from eight Canadian universities including Acadia University, McGill University, Mount Saint Vincent University, University of Guelph, University of Ottawa, University of Prince Edward Island and Western University.

Flavours of Canada, hosted by the University of Massachusetts (UMass) Amherst, will introduce Canadian-inspired recipes and Canadian culture from the respective universities and geographical areas. Maple syrup candy, poutine and watermelon are just some of the 35 dishes being served.

UMass Amherst Dining Services is hosting the celebration on Thursday, April 13.
