Prior to this appointment, Dumba served as director of student accounts and treasury. He joined the U of S from HSBC where he was head of One HSBC Loans and Mortgages. Dumba also has experience with other major players in the banking sector, in the agriculture sector and with the Canadian Armed Forces.
Dumba is an alumnus of the University of Saskatchewan, having earned a master's degree in economics and BSc in physics here. He also recently completed the final requirements to obtain his certified management accountant designation.

Jeff Dumba has assumed the position of associate vice-president of financial services at the University of Saskatchewan.
