Winter Orientation welcomes new U of S students

At today's session, undergraduate students beginning studies in the College of Arts and Science, the College of Agriculture and Bioresources, the Edwards School of Business (which is accepting new students in January for the first time) as well as new graduate students, will be introduced to the U of S and their programs. They will also have the opportunity to meet other new and current students from across campus.

Media are invited to attend the following events today:

Campus tour:
12:30-1:30 pm
Tour departs from the Welcome Centre in Lower Place Riel (behind the Treats location)

Welcome and introduction to the U of S:
1:30-3:30 pm
Room 241, Arts Building (Neatby-Timlin Theatre)

Focused information sessions:
3:30-4 pm
4-4:30 pm

Students can choose two focused information sessions to attend:

• Agriculture and Bioresources Introduction (Room 200, Arts Building)

• Arts and Science Introduction (Room 202, Arts Building)

• Edwards School of Business Introduction (Room 206, Arts Building)

• Graduate Student Introduction (Room 207, Arts Building)

• International Student Introduction (Room 208, Arts Building)

• Your University of Saskatchewan Students' Union (Room 213, Arts Building)

Information fair and social:
4:30-6:30 pm
Place Riel North Concourse

 

Campus services, student groups and college representatives will be available at the Information Fair to answer any additional questions students have and to help them learn how to get involved here at the U of S.
