Jersey poster presented

English sessional instructor Michael P.J. Kennedy and former Huskies hockey coach Bill Seymour presented U of S President Peter MacKinnon with a framed copy of a new limited-edition print of Huskies hockey jerseys before the Huskies game against the University of Alberta at Credit Union Centre Nov. 4.

The posters, entitled Huskies Men’s Hockey: The Colour of Tradition, was produced by Seymour, Kennedy and student Kerri Archibald. They are on sale for $75 and proceeds go to the men’s hockey program. Kennedy created an English course on hockey in literature, and is author of Going Top Shelf: An Anthology of Canadian Hockey Poetry. With Seymour’s help, he is now writing a history of men’s hockey at the U of S.
