Soup's on for charity

Soup mini-pot

Physiology student Zia Poonja chats with St. Thomas More College 'Choices' cafeteria staff member Darla Klassen about the Soup Mini-Pot Campaign that he and four fellow students are running as part of the Leadership Advantage initiative on campus. The campaign - at STM and at all U of S Food Services buffeterias until early April and throughout the summer at many large retails outlets across Saskatoon like Canadian Tire and IGA - sells soup-pot signs for $1 to customers, to be posted on the wall. The proceeds go to Saskatoon's Friendship Inn and the campaign's goal is $20,000.
