ILO adds remote offices
The U of S Industry Liaison Office (ILO) announced last month it is launching its first three satellite offices on campus.
The offices – in the Colleges of Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, and Engineering – are designed to foster more interaction with the University’s research community. The announcement said more satellite offices are planned for the Colleges of Medicine and Arts & Science, as space and staff become available.
The satellite offices will help ILO with its mandate to educate faculty, staff and students about intellectual property matters, and add value to new U of S inventions. They should improve ILO’s communications and accessibility. The satellite office staff are:
• Diane Harms, Technology Transfer Officer, Rm 4112 WCVM, Tel: 966-2451.
• Karl Miller, Technology Transfer Officer, Rm 2C78 Engineering Building, Tel: 966-1988.
• Bin Yan, Technology Transfer Manager, Rm 2D08 Agriculture Building, Tel: 966-5875.
