High level visit

Clive Mather, President and CEO of Shell Canada Limited, meets U of S students during a visit to campus March 27. About 100 engineering, computer science, commerce and geological sciences students attended a lunch-time address by Mather who talked about the energy industry, job opportunities with his Calgary-based firm and, he joked, “whether the Flames will make the play-offs”. A 36-year employee of Shell, Mather left the position of chairman of Shell UK in London to take over the Canadian operation in 2004. This was his first trip to Saskatchewan.
