Egg drop science
May 13, 2011
Grade 6, 7 and 8 science students from various Saskatoon area schools spent the day on campus May 4 as part of the national Let’s Talk Science outreach program. Working with U of S students, faculty and staff, the visitors participated in a number of events, including a design challenge. This year, they were given assorted materials and had to use them to protect an egg that was dropped from a predetermined height. Some were more successful than others, but everyone had a fun time.
