Pilot project raises profile of ‘credit for prior learning’

Shooting for awareness

One activity during this year’s U of S Disabilities Awareness Week, Oct. 4-8, was a wheelchair basketball game Oct. 6 in the Education Gym, between the Sask. Wheelchair Sports Assn. and a team of U of S people – including student leaders and staff affiliated with the Office of Services for Students with Disabilities. The U of S team, in dark t-shirts, put up a valiant fight in the fast-paced hoops game, but in the end lost to the pros.
