The Gordon Oakes Redbear Student Centre will house the Aboriginal Students' Centre and Aboriginal student leadership groupsâwith additional space for learning, gatherings and ceremonies. The centre will also play a lead role in the co-ordination of on-campus Aboriginal engagement.
This 1,884 square-metre building was designed by Douglas Cardinal, a renowned Métis and Blackfoot architect. The projected cost of the development is $17 million.
