U of S President Peter Stoicheff and Lutheran Chaplain Paul Sartison will speak at the service, which will be hosted by the Multi-Faith Chaplains Association at the U of S. The memorial will also feature a wreath-laying ceremony, a moment of silence and prayers for peace.
The Memorial Gates were erected in 1928 as a monument in honour of the 69 students, faculty and staff of the U of S who perished in the Great War, with a Remembrance Day service held annually at the site.
