Agriculture and bioresources dean reappointed

Mary Buhr has been appointed to a second term as dean of the College of Agriculture and Bioresources.

Buhr came to the U of S as dean on July 1, 2009 from the University of Guelph where she was interim dean of the Ontario Agriculture College. She earned a BSc in biology from the University of Waterloo in 1976, and an MSc and PhD in biology from the same university in 1978 and 1982 respectively. Her research interest centres on sperm physiology and its relationship to fertility and artificial insemination.

Her re-appointment was confirmed by the university Board of Governors and announced Feb. 3.
